Privacy at Readernaut
This notice describes the Readernaut website at readernaut.app. It does not describe any separately distributed mobile application.
The short version
You can browse and read without an account. Readernaut does not use advertising cookies or persistent analytics identifiers. Reading settings and progress are stored in your browser on your device.
Information stored on your device
Readernaut uses browser local storage for functional reading preferences—font, text size, and line spacing—and for the chapter you reached in each book. This information stays in that browser unless you clear it. It is not a cross-device account or cloud-sync service.
Aggregate product events
The website sends a small set of anonymous aggregate product events, such as starting a story or moving to the next chapter, so we can understand whether the reading experience works. These events contain only an approved event name. Readernaut does not attach a user ID, cookie, book title, path, referrer, or browser profile to those event messages.
Hosting and technical logs
Readernaut is hosted on Cloudflare, which may process ordinary technical request information such as IP address, timestamps, and security signals under its own infrastructure practices. Chapter source files are retrieved by the Readernaut server from author repositories hosted on GitHub.
Children and accounts
The web reader is designed for stories appropriate to ages 6–12, but it does not create child profiles, request names or email addresses, provide chat, or offer a social feed. A parent or guardian should supervise a child’s use as appropriate.
Your choices
You can remove saved reading progress and settings by clearing local site data for readernaut.app in your browser. Blocking local storage will make those conveniences unavailable, but reading will still work.
Operator and contact
Readernaut is provided by PS Feldroy LLC through Feldroy. Questions about this web notice can be sent through the Feldroy contact page.
